Echinacea, Oregon Grape and Myrrh

Here is one of the best sore throat remedies. Buy one-ounce bottles of each tincture and combine them in a larger bottle. Take 30 to 60 drops in a little water every two hours for the first day's dose, then every four hours.

Salt Water

Mix one teaspoon of salt into one cup of warm water. Gargle with the solution three times per day.

Apple Cider Vinegar And Honey

Lana from Sacramento California sent this one in and it sounds like one of the better sore throat remedies. Lana writes: "At first sign of sore throat, get some unfiltered apple cider vinegar and honey. Mix some honey with the vinegar in a glass, (my ratio is 3 Tbls honey to a cup of vinegar)."

"Gargle with it for as long as you can stand it. Then gargle with some lukewarm water after as the vinegar/honey mixture picks up all the germs and the water gargle after removes it from the throat. We swear by this one!"

Echinacea and Licorice Throat Spray

One of the most soothing sore throat remedies, this all natural throat spray contains echinacea and licorice, as well as sage leaf, goldenseal, peppermint, tea tree oil, thyme and more.
