Scabies Treatment

Neem And Tumeric

This combination is a powerful scabies treatment. Mix 4 parts of fresh neem leaves with 1 part tumeric root. Many skin creams available at health food stores contain neem.

If you don't have access to the fresh herbs, you can mix several teaspoons of ground tumeric into one of these neem-containing skin creams and apply the mixture directly to the affected area.


Because of it's antibiotic properties and it's antiparasitic properties, garlic is a fantastic scabies treatment. Take 2 capsules, three times per day.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A helps to heal skin and also aids in the construction of new skin tissue. Take 25,000 IU daily for about 3 months.

Onion Skin

Onion skins are an excellent natural scabies treatment because they contain very high amounts of quercetin, which has a very soothing and healing effect on the skin.

Put the skins from 12 medium onions into 1 quart of water and boil for about 30 minutes. Let the mixture cool and then apply the liquid directly to the affected area.


Walnuts are another very effective scabies treatment because they contain juglone, a chemical that deals directly with the mites that cause scabies. Put several whole walnuts in 2 cups of water and boil until half the water has evaporated. Apply the water directly on the skin.


Make a strong tansy tea and wash the affected skin area with it.


Rhubarb is a great scabies treatment because it directly helps to rid the body of infections caused by parasites.

Star Anise

Rub oil of star anise directly on the affected skin.

Evening Primrose

This herbal scabies treatment is so effective for treating skin conditions, it has been approved in the United Kingdom for treating eczema. Apply evening primrose oil directly to the affected skin. Also, take 1000 mg internally, three times per day.

St. John's Wort

Apply a tincture of St. John's wort directly on the affected area.


This is a very soothing scabies treatment and it will quickly relieve the itching caused by the rash. Scoop a few handfuls of oatmeal into a warm bath and soak for a while.

Aloe Vera

Apply aloe vera gel directly to the affected area to relieve the irritation and itch of a scabies rash.
