Home Remedy For Pink Eye

Baby Shampoo

This combination is a very basic home remedy for pink eye. Mix 1 part baby shampoo to 10 parts warm water.

Use a cottonball to apply solution to your eyelashes and outer eyelids to clean off and wipe off the crusty stuff.

Make sure you keep your eyes shut tight while administering.

Warm Wash Cloth

This is a very fast home remedy for pink eye. It is very quick to administer and although it might not cure pink eye right away it will definitely make you feel better fast.

Apply a warm wash cloth to your eyes 3 or 4 times a day.

Also, don't share a washcloth or towel with anyone who has developed pink eye, it is very contagious.

Aloe

Cut a leaf of Aloe about 12 inches long and remove the skin. Cut it into pieces and soak in clean water until the water turns a pale green.

This happens to be a great home remedy for pink eye, and if you want quicker results you can use a blender to speed up this process.

Strain the mixture and use an eye dropper to put 2 to 3 drops into each affected eye. Do this 3 or 4 times a day until the inflammation is cleared up.
