Cellulite Remedies

Water

Probably one of the easiest cellulite remedies is simply to drink plenty of water every day. Six to eight 8 oz. glasses.

This will aid your body's natural cell cleansing abilities and reduce the amount of fluids and fatty tissue stored in your body's cells.

Salt

Reduce the amount of salt you intake. Salt causes your body's cells to retain more fluids which promotes cellulite problems.

Burn That Fat

Exercises that typically target only the thighs and buttocks usually fail to get rid of cellulite because they are inefficient at stimulating your body's natural ability to burn fat.

When you increase your body's metabolism, your body burns calories which in turn prevents fat and fluid retention and furthermore starts burning stored fat and fluids. This is one of the healthiest cellulite remedies.

The best way to increase your body's metabolism is with regular aerobic exercising. Walking, jogging, swimming, bicycling and even dancing is a good way to get your daily share of aerobics.

The most effective way to conduct aerobic exercising is to get your heart rate up and keep it there for 20 minutes continuously. Build up to this level, don't overdue it at first.

Incorporate this into an exercise routine that lasts one hour and do it at least three times per week.

Juniper

This is one of the most soothing cellulite remedies.

Take 20 to 30 drops of juniper essential oil and mix it with 4 ounces of olive oil. Apply the mixture to your hands and then massage the areas of your body where cellulite is a problem.

Ginkgo Biloba

Your body's cells need oxygen rich blood flow to perform their natural cleansing and detoxification process which expels unnecessary fluids and fat deposits.

What makes ginkgo biloba one of the more effective cellulite remedies is that it increases blood flow and circulation in the capillaries, therefore promoting delivery of oxygen rich blood to the cells.

Coffee

Grind dark coffee beans into a powder. Take the powder and mix it with normal moisturizing lotion, equal parts of each. Apply it to areas on your body where cellulite is an issue and massage the area for several minutes. Shower or rinse off when done. Repeat on a daily basis.

Fatty Foods

Another one of the more simple cellulite remedies is to just lay off the fatty foods. Limit your intake of desserts, cheeses, chips, dips, processed meats and anything deep fried.

Coffee And Cigarettes

Stay away from these habits. Both of these unhealthy habits promote cellulite by constricting blood vessels and inhibiting blood flow to your cells. In addition, smoking significantly reduces oxygen in the blood.

Grapefruit Juice, Corn Oil And Thyme

Camille from Texas writes: "Mix 1 cup of grapefruit juice, 1 cup of corn oil, and 2 tsp of dried thyme. Massage the mixture into your thighs, hips, and buttocks, then cover with plastic wrap. Hold a heating pad over each area for 5 min".

"This is suppose to be a homemade version of those herbal wraps offered at the fancy spas for cellulite remedies."
